What is recorded here

In rolling pasture. This possible rath (diam. c. 65m) is defined by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.9m; H 0.6m), which has been destroyed from NNE–E–SSE due to the construction of modern field boundaries. At the external base of the bank is a wide, waterlogged depression (Wth 5.3-8m; D 0.3-0.75m). The interior is occupied by a motte (LF023-059----). Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 21 May 2012

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
