In wet, low-lying pasture. Described in 1976 (SMR file) as a small subcircular rise (c. 25m N-S; c. 23m E-W) that was surrounded by a low irregular bank. It was believed locally to be the last remnants of an old churchyard where burials took place up to the late 1800s. The monument has since been levelled and is not visible at ground level.
