On a gentle S-facing slope in pasture. A slightly raised subcircular area (c. 59m NW-SE; c. 55m NE-SW) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 2.5-3.5m; H 0.3-0.5m). Drystone masonry, of relatively modern date, is visible on the outer face of the bank at N. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded an external fosse and fragmentary traces of an outer bank, both of which have since been levelled. It also noted that the original entrance was at SE. Outcropping rock is evident within the interior.
