What is recorded here

A compact band (exposed Wth 2.2m; T 0.2m) of brushwood was visible in opposing drain faces. The majority of the elements were small (diam. c. 0.02m), with five or six larger pieces (diam. 0.04 to 0.05m) at the N end of the section. Most of the brushwood extended into the drain face while one or two pieces ran transversely underneath them at the S end. There was no visible evidence of woodworking. The evidence suggested that this was likely to be the remains of a platform.
