On low-lying ground at the S end of Inchcleraun Island. Named ‘Fort’ on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map. A roughly wedge-shaped area (L c. 33.5m NW–SE; max. Wth c. 25m NE–SW; min. Wth c. 13m NE–SW) enclosed by a much-denuded drystone wall (Wth c. 0.5–0.7m; H c. 0.1–0.25m) with the outline of a possible external fosse (Wth c. 2.3m) visible on the SE and SW sides. Only fragmentary remains of wall-footings are identifiable on the NW side and at the N end of the NE side. The original entrance is not recognisable.
