On a gentle NNE-facing slope in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 37.9m) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth 5.8m; H 1.1m max.) with a wide, shallow, external fosse (Wth 6.3m; D 0.4m). The rath is divided into unequal portions by a NNE-SSW field boundary. In the much-larger portion, to the NW, there is a later field boundary at the outer lip of the fosse. In the smaller portion, to the SE, the fosse has been infilled but its outline is still identifiable. A poorly defined break (Wth c. 4m) in the bank at E may mark the original entrance.
