What is recorded here

A band of parallel, longitudinal brushwood (overall exposed L 3m; Wth 0.7m) was exposed on the field surface and was being milled. The principle exposed area measured 1.5m ENE-WSW by 0.7m NNW-SSE but there were occasional pieces of brushwood visible for a further 1.5m. Of eight pieces of closely spaced brushwood (diam. 0.02-0.04m), the longest measured 1.1m. The evidence suggested that this was likely to be the remains of a platform.
