What is recorded here

This togher (L 17m min.; Wth 1.5m; D 0.1m), noted in 1987, was orientated E-W and consisted of a brushwood hurdle of hazel and occasional birch (av. diam. 0.035m). It had a simple under-over weave and three remaining sails, each with toolmarks at the ends. Radiocarbon dated to 1109-900 BC (2830±35 BP, GrN-15489) (Raftery 1990, 21, 27-8; 1996, Derryoghil 5, 125-6).
