On a prominent hillock in rolling pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 22.7m) enclosed by a much-denuded, low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.1m; H 0.8m max.).The bank has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary from NE-E-S. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded fragmentary traces of an external fosse, which are no longer visible. It also referred to a 'berm-like feature [Wth c. 3m] at the outer foot of the bank at W' but this appears to be an entirely natural feature. The original entrance is not recognisable.
