On a high prominent hill in rolling countryside. A raised circular area (diam. 40.9m) enclosed from SW-N-NNE by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.2m; H 1.1m max.) that is incorporated into a field boundary. Elsewhere the bank has been levelled but its outline is still identifiable. A shallow external fosse (Wth 3.2m; D 0.25m) survives from SW-W-WNW. The original entrance is not recognisable. Within the WNW sector of the interior is a depression, which probably marks the location of a souterrain (LF018-015002-).
