On a low rise in pasture. Depicted on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small tree-ring. An oval-shaped mound of earth and stone (dims. at base 14.5m E-W; 11m N-S; H 1.7-1.9m). The summit is flat topped (diam. 6.3m). There is no trace of an encircling bank or fosse. Probably a burial mound.
