Associated with a 17th-century house (LF015-063003-). In 1682 Nicholas Dowdall recorded that Sir John Edgeworth on receiving his father’s estate ‘hath Improved it by building a fair house planted Orchards and Gardens [LF015-063008-] very Sumptuous and Impalled a fair Park for Deer' (Gillespie and Moran 1991, 210). The precise location of the deer park has not been identified.
