On a rise in low-lying pasture. Depicted as a subcircular enclosure planted with trees and designated 'Fort' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A report in 1970 (SMR file) noted that the rath had been reused as a landscape feature. It has since been levelled and its location is marked by a low, poorly defined mound of earth and stone.
