Dr Keenan, in his notes on county Longford, refers to ‘a small Carn 24 feet [7.3m] in diameter and 4 feet [1.2m] high with a pillar stone 3 feet [0.9m] high on top of it’ in Creeve townland (Devaney 1981, 97). Neither the cairn (LF014-127----) nor possible standing stone were located.
