On a gentle ENE-facing slope in wet, low-lying pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 28.3m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 5m; H 0.2-1.15m) with an external fosse (Wth 7.4m; D 0.7m), which has been infilled from N-NE-SSE. A narrow break (2.2m) in the bank at WNW with traces of accompanying causeway may mark the original entrance.
