On a rise in low-lying pasture. A raised D-shaped area (c. 38m NW–SE; c. 26m NE–SW), with a straight SE side, enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.5m; H 0.4m) with a shallow intervening fosse (Wth 4.2m; D 0.3m), a very wide, low outer bank (Wth 8.25m; H 1.1m) and an outer fosse (Wth 4.7m; D 0.35m). From ENE–E–SE the outer bank and fosse have been largely levelled due to the construction of a modern NE–SW field boundary. The original entrance is not recognisable. The rath is very densely overgrown with scrub rendering satisfactory inspection impossible.
