On a hillock in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 36.2m) enclosed by a wide low bank of earth and stone (Wth 6.5m; H 0.2-0.8m) with a largely infilled external fosse (Wth c. 4m), which survives from NNW-S-WSW. A break (Wth 3m) in the bank at SE with traces of an accompanying causeway may mark the original entrance.
