A land grant to Sir Richard Nugent, Baron of Delvin, in 1557-8 included 'the Monastery of Granard [Abbeylara LF011-036001-], with its site and possessions, and a water-mill in Likebla' (Cal. pat. rolls Ire., Hen. VIII Eliz., 394-5). An inquisition in 1631 lists a water mill, which was part of the dissolved property of the monastery of Abbeylara (Anon. 1826, Inq. 12 Car. I). Its precise location has not been identified.
