On a knoll in undulating pasture. A report in 1975 (SMR file) indicates that this raised subcircular area (29.7m N-S; 28.5m E-W) was enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone with a berm at its base. It is defined by a low scarp (H 0.2-1m). The original entrance is not recognisable.
