On a low rise in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. c. 26m) enclosed from NW-E-WSW by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 5-5.4m; H 0.3-0.95m) and elsewhere defined by a scarp (H 1.9m)' with an external fosse (Wth 5.9-6.2m; D 0.4-0.95m) and a low outer bank (Wth 1.8-4m; H 0.4-1m), which has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary. A break (Wth 1.5m) in the bank at ENE may mark the original entrance.
