On a N-facing slope in wet pasture. On a N-facing slope in wet pasture. A raised subcircular area (29m N–S; 27m E–W) enclosed at S by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth c. 5m; H 0.3-0.9m) and elsewhere defined by a scarp (H 1.1m). A fosse (Wth 5.5-6.3m; D 0.15-1.15m) is evident from E–S–W. A modern E–W field boundary divides the rath into unequal portions. The smaller portion, to the N, has been partially levelled. The original entrance is not recognisable.
