What is recorded here

This is the S example of two conjoined ringforts and it is separated from the N one (LF010-014001-) by its fosse. It comprises a raised circular area (diam. c. 40m) enclosed from WSW-W-N by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4m; H 0.2-0.7m). Elsewhere the defining element is a low scarp (H 0.3-0.8m). The intervening shallow fosse (Wth c. 5m; D 0.2-0.4m) is visible from SW-W-N and from NE-E-SE. At E an outer bank (Wth 4m; H 0.2-0.4m) and an outer fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.15-0.2m) are evident. The original entrance is not recognisable. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 17 January 2012
