On a shelf of level ground on a NW-facing slope. A raised circular area (diam. c. 53m) enclosed from NE–ENE–E by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.2m; H 0.3-0.5m) and from E-S-NE by a scarp (H 1.55-1.9m). An intervening fosse (Wth 5.8-6.6m; D 1-1.15m) and an outer bank (Wth 4.2m; H 1.1m) are also evident. The fosse and outer bank have been levelled from ENE–E-ESE due to the construction of a modern N–S field boundary. The outer bank is also levelled from NNW–N–ENE. The original entrance is not recognisable.
