Associated with the 17th-century settlement of St Johnstown (LF009-023----). At the outbreak of the 1641 Rebellion one of the O'Farrells nailed a government proclamation to the door of the market-house at Saint Johnstown (Gillespie 2005, 106; TCD, MS 817, fol. 235v). Its precise location has not been identified.
