In level pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 42.5m) enclosed by a very wide bank of earth and stone (Wth c. 9m; H 0.5-0.9m) and a wide external fosse (Wth 3-6m; D 0.4-1.5m). A report in 1990 (SMR file) recorded two more banks and a second fosse, all of which have since been levelled. It suggested that the original entrance may have been at E.
