What is recorded here

Centrally located within the interior of an enclosure (LF009-003001-). This L-shaped house, probably of 17th-century date, is defined by low banks of earth and stone (Wth 2-3m; H 0.3-0.8m). It consists of two blocks: the main one (dims. 11m NE-SW; 5.3m NW-SE) is aligned NE-SW and the secondary one (dims. 8.65m NW-SE; 5.15m NE-SW) extends off its SW end and is aligned NW-SE . There are small extensions off the NW gable and off the NE wall of the secondary block. Two openings (Wth of both 1m) in the SE wall of the main block probably mark doorways. Compiled by: Patrick F.
