On a NE-facing slope in pasture. Depicted as a small oval enclosure with the designation 'Fort' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. The monument has been levelled. However, the outline of a bank with a narrow external fosse may still be identified, enclosing an oval area (c. 38m N-S; c. 31m E-W). At NW a modern NE-SW field boundary overlies the line of the fosse. The original entrance is not recognisable.
