In level pasture. A raised circular area (diam. c. 32m) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth 5.4-5.7m; H 0.8-1.45m) except at SSE where it is defined by a low scarp (H 0.5m). A wide, shallow fosse (Wth 4.8-5.6m; D 0.2-0.6m) survives from S–SSW and from N–NE–E. A report in 1976 (SMR file) suggested that a wide break in the bank at S may mark the original entrance.
