On level ground within a plantation of deciduous trees. A raised circular area (diam. c. 33m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 5.5-6.5m; H 0.3-0.8m) with a shallow external fosse (Wth 2.5-3m; D 0.1-0.5m). The bank and fosse have been destroyed from NE-S-SSW due to the construction of a wall and an adjacent roadway. A report in 1976 (SMR file) suggested that a wide break in the bank at E may have marked the original entrance.
