On a low knoll in rolling pasture. A raised almost circular area (25m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed at ENE by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.3m; H 0.35m) and elsewhere by a scarp (H 0.85-1.25m). There is no trace of a fosse. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded that the original entrance was at SE.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
