What is recorded here

On a SSE-facing slope within a large plantation of coniferous trees. A buffer zone extends around the monument and no planting occurs within in it. This roughly circular rath (int. diam. c. 46m) is defined by an earthen bank with an external fosse. The bank is best preserved at NW, elsewhere it is low and fragmentary and is not visible at NE and E. It is overgrown with thorn trees. The fosse is not visible from NW-N-E. The original entrance is not recognisable. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 14 February 2012
