In the waters of Lough Gowna, c. 45m to the W of a headland. This oval, high-cairn crannog (31m E–W; 28m N–S) rises 3.3m above the lake-bed. A mid-cairn (6.5m E–W; 3.5m N–S), to the E, consists of densely packed subangular stones and also a small number of shattered stones. It is surrounded by a stony plateau (13.9m E–W; 13.5m N–S). The mid-cairn and plateau seem to be placed on a natural shoal.
