On a NW-facing slope in rough pasture. This natural spring is incorporated in a modern, concrete-built shrine. A signpost indicates that it is dedicated to St Patrick. It was visited by local pilgrims on the 1st, second Sunday and 15th of August (Devaney 1981, 94). The water from the well was known to cure warts and other skin ailments and it was the custom for pilgrims to throw coins and pins into the well and to place a rag on the bush located beside it (ibid.).
