What is recorded here

This structure consisted of a deposit (L 1.6m min.; Wth 1.7m; D 0.04m) of five roundwoods (av. diam. 0.07m) orientated NE-SW and three pieces of brushwood (av. diam. 0.04m), which were laid perpendicular to these. The condition of the wood ranged from poor to good with metal-cut tool marks evident on the brushwood. This deposit lay 0.45m below the SE end of a togher (LF004-029----) and 0.2m above the E end of another one (LF004-034----) (Moore and O’Connor 2009a, 43, EDC 47). Compiled by: Mary Tunney based on data kindly supplied by Caitríona Moore. Date of upload: 26 August 2011
