What is recorded here

This structure consisted of a fragmented and disturbed deposit (L 3m; Wth 0.5m; D 0.15m) of two heavily degraded roundwoods, a piece of brushwood and two possible split timbers. It was located within an abandoned peat-cutting and the condition of the wood was poor, only one toolmark was present. Two toghers (LF004-036---- and LF004-040----) lay c. 10m to the SW (Moore and O’Connor 2009a, 35-6, EDC 33). Compiled by: Mary Tunney based on data kindly supplied by Caitríona Moore. Date of upload: 26 August 2011
