What is recorded here

This structure consisted of a deposit (L 0.5m; Wth 0.15m; D 0.06m) of twenty pieces of brushwood (diam. 0.015-0.03m; L 0.5m max.), most of which were orientated NNE-SSW. The wood was in good condition with metal-cut toolmarks present throughout. Fragments of stitched leather, possibly the remains of a shoe, were recovered (Moore and O’Connor 2009a, 35, EDC 32). Compiled by: Mary Tunney based on data kindly supplied by Caitríona Moore. Date of upload: 26 August 2011

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
