On top of a NW-SE drumlin ridge. A raised circular area (27.3m N-S; 25.5m E-W) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth c. 7m; H 0.7-1.3m) with a narrow external fosse (Wth 1.5-3m; D 0.3-1.1m). A recently widened break in the bank at W probably marks the original entrance.
