Situated at the S end of the N-S crest of a drumlin ridge. This is a grass and rush-covered subcircular area (int. dims 41m N-S; 37m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (at W: Wth of base 4.9m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 2.5m) which has been planted with coniferous trees, and a fosse (at W: Wth of top 5m; Wth of base 2m; ext. D 1.1m). The original entrance is not identified.
