What is recorded here

Located at the crest of the S-facing slope of a drumlin. This is a grass and scrub-covered circular area (diam. 43m E-W; 40m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at E: Wth of base 3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.4m) with an external fosse (at E: Wth of top 4.5m; Wth of base 3m; ext. D 0.5m) but the bank is reduced to a scarp (H 1.4m) at W. There is an entrance at SSE. Rath (LE033-009----) is c. 150m to the SW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
