What is recorded here

According to Archdall (1786, 807) in 1595 it was found that the ‘hospital of Termon-Irrenagh or Corbeship at Annaghyew’ was endowed with half a townland and two quarters (c. 60 acres) (Gwynn and Hadcock 1970, 346). Its location is not known and it may have been anywhere in the parish, although probably close to the parish church. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 8 June 2018

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
