What is recorded here

Situated at the highest point of a broad E-W drumlin ridge. This is a grass and rush-covered circular earthen platform (diam. 30.5m E-W; 29.5m N-S; H 0.6-0.8m) defined by a fosse (Wth of top 3.9-5.35m; Wth of base 0.6-1m; ext. D 0.35-0.45m). The original entrance is not identified. Rath (LE032-022----) is c. 100m to the NW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
