Situated on a level landscape c. 100m from the NW bank of the River Shannon, and on the line of the N4 roadway. A circular area of burnt and broken stones (diam. 4m) was excavated (94E0100) in advance of roadworks, but no evidence of a trough or other features was recovered. (Neary 1994, 1995)
