Located on the N bank of a SW-NE portion of the river Shannon, c. 50m from the stream, and just S of the line of the N4 roadway. This is a subcircular grass-covered mound (dims c. 25m E-W; c. 20m N-S; H 0.4m). Archaeological excavation (94E0051) c. 10m to the N failed to produce any associated material.
