What is recorded here

Located on top of a drumlin. This is a circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 29m N-S) defined by an overgrown scarp (H 0.25m at N to 1m at SSE) with a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 4-5m; Wth of base 2.3m; ext. D 0.15-0.3m) SW-N. The monument is bisected by a N-S field bank and hedge with field spoil and dense scrub to the E of this feature and rushes to the W. The original entrance is not identified. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
