What is recorded here

Situated on the slight E-facing slope of a drumlin. This is a grass and rush-covered circular area (int. diam. 29m) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; H 0.2m), with traces of an external fosse at N. The original entrance is not identified, and the rath (LE031-068----) is c. 35m to the SW. Archaeological testing (94E0051) c. 20m to the E on the line of the N4 failed to produce any related material (Opie 1994, 5, fig. 9; 1995).
