Situated in a low-lying position in an undulating reclaimed pasture. It is depicted as a triangular field (dims c. 20m x c. 20m) described as a 'fort' in gothic lettering on the 1835 edition of the OS 6-inch map and as a length of earthen bank (C c. 23m N-S) on the 1911 edition. A small overgrown triangular area (dims c. 25m E-W; c. 10m E-W) survives and may be the E remnant of a ringfort.
