Located towards the top of a S-facing slope. This is a grass-covered circular area (int. diam. 35.5m N-S; 32.5m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3m; H. 0.65m) and hedge surmounted by a collapsed field wall, with an external fosse (Wth of base 3-5m; D 0.2m) NW-N. An entrance (Wth 3.5m) at E is modern.
