Located towards the top of a rise in an undulating landscape with rock outcrop. This is an overgrown scrub-covered D-shaped area (int. dims 31m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 5.5m; H 0.45m) which is truncated at E by a N-S field bank. The original entrance is not identified, but spoil has been added to the interior.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
