Situated in pasture on a rise on the S shore of Garadice Lough, which is c. 30m to the NE. It is depicted as a small circular embanked enclosure (external diam. c. 25-30m) described in gothic lettering as a 'fort' only on the 1835 edition of the OS 6-inch map. No archaeological feature is visible at ground level, but it was probably a ringfort.
