Situated c. 100m from the NE shore of triangular Castlefore Lough (max. dims c. 800m ENE-WSW; c. 450m NNW-SSE at E). This is an overgrown and artificial circular island of earth and stone (diam. 20m) with intermittently visible evidence of wooden piles around the perimeter. See the attached view from the E.
